The Fairfield Township Police Department will be conducting training on the proper use of Radar tonight, July 26th, at 6:30pm.  The training will take place at the Police Station on Vonnie Vale Drive and is open to all CPAA Members interested in assisting an upcoming speed analysis study requested by Chief St. John.

Teams of 2 volunteers will be given a handheld radar monitoring device and will be deployed to specific locations that have received a high volume of complaints about excessive speed.  These volunteers will utilize the Citizen's on Patrol car and a handheld radar device to log speeds of cars at the indicated locations.

A total of 16 volunteers have already showed interest in assisting with this effort.  If you are interested, please contact Mike Oler - moler@fairfieldtwp.org, as soon as possible.
